ALiza Carpio

Welcome! I'm a Product Leader with a background in software engineering and a passion for building community and empowering technologists across the globe.

Highlights

“If code is the expression of your idea or solution, then your career path in tech is the expression of your passion and drive.”

That’s my mantra.

Since joining Intuit after grad school, I’ve had the opportunity to be a systems engineer (and one of only eight women in a building of 350 employees), a program manager, a product manager, a dev manager, and a social media manager. As a tech evangelist, I got to work with an amazing team on the Intuit Tech Culture program, with a goal to create an amazing tech ethos at Intuit and be part of the company’s platform transformation journey, where engineers can do the best work of their lives.

Now,as Tech Evangelist at Autodesk, I focus on efforts that galvanize the tech community to write, speak and promote their innovation, open source and expertise internally and externally in order to attract top tech talent, partners and customers.

Testimonials

Passion, boldness and an insatiable appetite for awesome. These are just a few ways to describe Aliza, although her full impact and skills would take volumes to complete. She has played many roles in her career, all preparing her to execute at the intersection of all of them. Part engineer, part product manager, part communications leader, and all innovator. She bridges disciplines and inspires generations, all in pursuit of impact. She has rare gifts to see what’s missing. The critical ingredient that prevented awesome. She leads with passion, blasting through boundaries like hurricane. Yet her communication skills allow her to be affective across all levels (SVP to front-line engineer) and audience size (1 to many). It has truly been a privilege to work with Aliza and look forward to seeing the impact she’ll make in the future
— Alex Balazs, Intuit Chief Architect, SVP
